2018 Westonzoyland Autosolo entries open

Entries are open for the Westonzoyland Autosolo on May 26th.  I have attached both entry forms (should any current non-competitors wish to take part) but for current MX5 Challenge competitors, please take note of the following:

  • Use the NatB application form
  • Enter class 5B

Any non-challenge people are more than welcome to enter, of course.  It’s pretty cheap to enter and it’s a great day out to skid your car around!

Look forward to seeing you there

2018 Llandow Sprint entries open

Entries are open for the Llandow sprint, you can enter by letter (how quaint!) or online here.

When entering, remember to enter ‘MX5’ in the class box as we have our own arrangements for the MX5 challenge.  Let’s hope that this event is as popular as the Great Western Sprint (massively over-subscribed).

We do also need Marshalls for the event so if you fancy coming along, speaking to other MX5 owners about the championship and generally enjoying a day of motorsport then we’d love to have the help. Bridge toll is paid for if you come across from England.

2018 Start of the season

Hope you’re all ready for the 2018, whether you’re competing or just spectating?

For 2018, we’ve managed to secure an extra venue, Manor Farm Hillclimb, which we hope will provide something different for the final two rounds of the season.  It’s a two-day event of a weekend so here’s hoping it’s a sociable event as I’m sure many will be camping.  From what we’ve seen, it’s not a daunting hill and should ease people nicely into hillclimbs.

The events have been published here but it looks like we’ve lost the Wessex Sprint (another new venue).  Not to worry, we still have a full season of 4x Sprints, 4x Autosolos and 2x Hillclimbs.  Remember, this meansthat 7 rounds count!

The championship regulations have been approved by the MSA and are published on the Club Website so please remind yourselves of the rules, although they haven’t changed from last year. I’m more than happy to answer any questions or give guidance on getting started
